How to sell your car on Rodii
1. Tell us about your car
Make, model, year, trim, mileage, features, price and municipality. Your progress is saved at every step, so you can leave and come back later.
2. Upload photos
At least 5 and up to 20 photos. Daylight and a clean car make the listing look better and sell faster.
3. We review and publish it
Someone on the Rodii team reviews the listing before it appears in the catalog. If something is missing, we tell you what to change.
4. We connect you with buyers
Interested buyers message Rodii on WhatsApp and we coordinate a viewing with you so they can see and test-drive the car.
What you need to list
- At least 5 photos of the car (up to 20).
- The licence plate. It is used for the review and is never published.
- The current mileage.
- Your asking price.
- The municipality where the car is. The neighbourhood is optional and the exact address is never shown.

Tips to sell your car faster
- Set a realistic price: compare it with similar cars (same make, model, year and mileage) in the Rodii Venta catalog.
- Keep the paperwork up to date: valid SOAT and technical inspection, vehicle tax paid and no fines in SIMIT. A serious buyer will check them.
- Have the registration card (tarjeta de propiedad) at hand. The transfer is filed at the transit authority where the car is registered and recorded in RUNT.
- Describe the car honestly: single owner, maintenance, dents or repairs. Avoid surprises at the viewing.
- Don't hand over the car or sign the transfer until you confirm the payment arrived through a traceable method.

Does Rodii buy my car?⌄
No. Rodii doesn't buy cars: it is a marketplace that connects sellers with buyers. You set the price and close the deal directly with the buyer.
What cars can I sell on Rodii?⌄
For now Rodii Venta accepts cars and SUVs, in any municipality in Colombia.
How do buyers contact me?⌄
Buyers message Rodii on WhatsApp from your listing and we put you in touch to coordinate a viewing. Your phone number doesn't appear on the listing.
How do payment and title transfer work?⌄
Payment and title transfer happen outside Rodii, directly between buyer and seller. The transfer is filed at the transit authority where the car is registered and recorded in RUNT. We guide you through the process.
How many photos do I need?⌄
At least 5 and at most 20. Daylight photos of the exterior, interior, dashboard and engine help the listing get approved and sell faster.
Is my licence plate published?⌄
No. The plate is requested to review the listing, but it doesn't appear on it.
Can I change the price after publishing?⌄
Yes. You can edit your listing from “My cars for sale”. Editing a published listing sends it back to review before it shows again.
Can I pause or withdraw my listing?⌄
Yes. From “My cars for sale” you can pause and reactivate it at any time, or withdraw it if you sold it or changed your mind.
Do I need an account?⌄
Yes. To list a car you sign in to Rodii with your email or Google account. Identity verification is optional, but it makes your listing show “Identity verified”.
