Rodii is a peer-to-peer car rental marketplace in Colombia: it connects people who need a car for a few days with local owners who already have one parked.
The platform is operated by RODII S.A.S., a Colombian company based in Medellín. The whole process — search, verification, booking, payment and handover — happens inside the platform.
What we do
A private car sits still most of the time. Rodii lets that car earn income for its owner while someone else uses it for a few days — no counter, no queues, no paperwork.
We currently operate in Medellín, Bogotá, Cali, Cartagena, Barranquilla, with home and airport delivery depending on what each listing offers.
How it works
- If you need a car: you pick the vehicle and the dates, verify your identity and driver's licence online, and confirm the booking seeing the full price before paying.
- If you own a car: you list the vehicle, our team reviews its documents before it goes live, and you decide which bookings to accept and when it is available.
- In both cases payment goes through the platform, and Rodii keeps a commission on the booking, deducted from the owner's earnings.
What backs every booking
- Active SURA insurance coverage on every booking, with no extra steps on your side.
- Identity and driver's licence verification before using a car, and validation of the vehicle documents before it is listed.
- Full price visible before confirming, with each listing's refundable deposit shown on its own page.
- A public cancellation policy: 100% refund when cancelling more than 48 hours ahead, 50% between 24 and 48 hours, no refund under 24 hours.
